Little Einstein Primary School

In 2017, I traded in my administrative job at the hospital for teaching English in Mexico. I traveled to Puerto Vallarta to earn a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate.

I lived in a small house near the ocean that did not have air conditioning with three other teachers. I was there a little over a month, teaching basic English at various elementary schools and advanced English at a community center. 

I loved exploring the area and trying different local restaurants. We experienced the nightlife of downtown Puerto Vallarta- which I recommend to any traveler. I also got the opportunity to take a day trip with a guide and hike to a hidden beach.
